In the construction of statutes, the following rules shall be observed with regard to a person's biological sex: a. "Sex" means a person's biological sex, either male or female, at birth, unless otherwise provided by law. b. A "female" is a person whose biological reproductive system is developed to produce ova and a "male" is a person whose biological reproductive system is developed to fertilize the ova of a female. c. The term "woman" or "girl" refers to a female and the term "man" or "boy" refers to a male. d. The term "mother" means a parent who is female and the term "father" means a parent who is male.
